Essential Trading are a fantastic, Bristol-based workers co-operative that supply independent businesses across the UK with organic and fairly traded wholefoods. We buy a lot of the wholefoods in the Tamar Valley Food Hubs shop from the co-operative, and you can also buy from them in bulk through the shop too.

Essential Trading update their catalogue every two months, so keep an eye out for new additions to the range and their latest promotions too.

How to buy in bulk
With bulk buying, you can shop the entire Essential Trading catalogue of over 4,000 items to buy in bulk and at a cheaper price, and have them delivered with your weekly shop. Our bulk order book opens every other week.

Because the catalogue is
so extensive, we
recommend making good use of the search bar at the top of the shop!
If there are products you know you plan to buy
regularly, make a note of their product code so
you can simply search for this in future.
