Ordering & paying for your order
We ask for all orders to be placed online and paid with by card, BACS or PayPal where possible. However we do understand that we have customers who would prefer to pay in cash on delivery and so will continue to accept cash where customers require us to do so.
Visitors and suppliers delivering
We ask suppliers to deliver within a certain time slot to avoid producers arriving at the same time and to maintain social distancing. We provide hand sanitiser at doorways for everybody to use when they arrive at our HQ.
We will continue to be closed to walk in customers at our HQ at the present time.
Staff members wear masks when taking in orders from suppliers.
Packaging
We will be continuing our commitment to reusing packaging including our plastic cool bags and ice blocks. On return to us these are sanitised inside and out and ice blocks are washed before being frozen again.
We ask customers to only return packaging items that we specify and no other packaging.
Delivery
Our drivers will continue to wear masks and are supplied with hand sanitizer, spray sanitizer and blue roll in the vans and are asked to follow a protocol of hand sanitizing in between each delivery.
Contactless delivery will continue where possible. Our drivers are asked to follow our protocol of leaving shopping on the doorstep, knocking on the door and then stepping back a minimum of 2m to maintain social distancing.
Customers are asked to remove the inner carrier bag from the cool bag and return the bag and box to the driver.
Deliveries to advised safe places are continuing as normal when requested by customers.
Customers are welcome to feed back to us on our delivery service and protocol and suggest improvements where they feel service can be improved.
We are aware that some of our customers are continuing to shield and we are more than happy to continue to take individual instructions around delivery process.
Collection Points
Collection points are continuing to run as normal. We ask that customers are patient if another customer is being served at the time and maintain social distancing measures from our staff and other customers. We also kindly ask that customers park considerately in case there is a waiting time before our staff members are able to hand over shopping.
Return of packaging
Please ensure that only packaging we can take back is returned to us and that it is clean and in a reusable condition.

Tamar Valley Food Hubs premises
We are continuing to ensure our premises are kept Covid secure by maintaining a high level of cleaning which is timetabled during the week and documented.
We also have sanitizer points in the packing areas, extra signage for hand washing and sanitizers available on every desk.
We are home working where possible and all staff are asked to report on any medical or sickness issues and not come to work and follow government guidelines if they are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19.
Our extra cleaning measures and protocols have been informed by risk assessing our activities and practices and is a copy of the risk assessment is available on request.
