Hands to Earth

Rose and Phill of Hands to Earth join the Hubs this week! Tenants at Tamar Grow Local's Farmstart site in Metherell, Hands to Earth is a small scale project that aims to cultivate and sell organically grown produce in a way that respects the earth and restores the natural landscape.

Set on half an acre in the Tamar Valley, Rose and Phill are practising permaculture techniques that aim to regenerate the health of the soil and promote growing and buying local produce. Aside from a passion for growing seasonal vegetables, Hands to Earth will also be growing natural dye plants to process and sell for natural dyers and to dye wool for Rose's personal weaving business.
